"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me"
~Carol Burnett
Today was the last day of school, which means the beginning of summer! This time, I don't feel as content with myself as I have during past end-of-school moments. Yes, I can say that I am proud of accomplishing all I have accomplished this year, without a doubt, although there is something that is nagging at me. Every summer I want to do something big that will improve my life, whether that's hanging out with my friends to have fun or reading a lot of books to get ahead in my school work for the next upcoming school year. This summer, I want to complete driver's ed, get my membership at the YMCA again and work out, do volunteer work, and do more outside activities. These are my goals for this summer (apart from enhancing my amazing blog). The month of June brings about these desires and hopes -- it's up to me to live up to them. Here's to a promising start of summer!
